Yoshie Fujimoto Kateada

Yoshie Fujimoto Kateada hails from Wisconsin where she grew up training at Kanopy Dance. In 2011 Yoshie moved to San Francisco to attend the LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors in 2015 and has since performed professionally throughout the Bay Area as well as worked administratively for ODC/Dance and Katie Faulkner's little seismic dance company. In 2017 Yoshie moved away from the Bay Area and she is currently an instructor at Voyageur Outward Bound School where she leads youth and young adults on wilderness expeditions in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota and Big Bend/the Rio Grande River in Texas. Most recently she has been featured in two award winning films released by Wilder Project Dance as well as two more films set to come out later this year.
